The VIM221PD video in motion interface unlocks the disabled features of the Comand DVD navigation system when the vehicle is in motion. Additionally, the VIM221PD works as a programmer for the rear seat entertainment system, navigation system, music register and backup camera on 2010 to current CL and S-Class Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Models from 2007 to 2009 can still program the backup camera.  Once installed, the device can be activated or deactivated using the factory steering wheel controls. Check your local traffic laws to ensure compliance.
